Recently my PERM has been approved and my client is planning to submit I140 soon. Along with this my employer has filed H1B this year and it has been picked in lottery and I’m awaiting results of the same. Is it advisable to go ahead with the I140 filing or should I wait for the results of my H1B filing? If they can proceed in parallel, then would there be any complications during H1B interview? I mean H1B from employer and I140 from the client for whom I’m going to work under the H1B. I clearly remember that we have to mention whether anyone has filed immigrant petition in my favor. In case my I140 is filed, I’ll have to mention yes correct? Also, My employer does not know..
