Client was an IT professional with nearly 20 years of experience focusing on product strategy, management, marketing, solution development, and services in databases, artificial intelligence, and storage technologies. Notably, the client had less than 10 citations on their published work. We were still able to argue successfully for their case based on their many years of industry experience.

Our case strategy proceeded as follows:

• We guided the client in drafting letters from colleagues establishing the client’s critical role at distinguished organizations in their field, as well as evidence of this distinguished reputation.
• We submitted evidence of the client’s scholarly articles and peer review service.
• We highlighted the client’s original contributions to the field, as demonstrated by their published articles and achievements on the job.
• We guided the client in drafting strong letters of recommendation from both dependent and independent recommenders that highlight their specific contributions and accomplishments in the field.
• We articulated that, overall, the client’s significant record of experience and achievement in their field, as indicated by the aforementioned evidence, demonstrated their sustained acclaim as well as their position at the top of their field.

Client initially received an RFE. While the USCIS accepted 2 of the 3 necessary criteria, that the client has served as judge of the work of others and has published scholarly articles in the field, they requested additional evidence regarding the client’s membership in organizations, their original contributions, and the distinguished reputation of the company in which they played a leading role.

We overcame this RFE by supplementing additional third party information and letters of recommendation attesting to the strict membership requirements of the organizations that the client was a part of, revised letters and other evidence to showcase the specific achievements and leadership of the client in their field, and additional information regarding the distinguished reputation of the client’s employers.

Thanks to our expert guidance in drafting a strong response to address all concerns raised by the initial RFE, the client was approved shortly after the response was submitted.
